UEFA announced some changes ahead of the return of the Old Continent’s top competition: The Champions League, suspended since March 11 due to the COVID-19.

The tournament will return on August 7 and 8, featuring the round of sixteen matches. The quarterfinals will be played on August 14 and 15 and the semi-finals on August 18 and 19. All these matches will be single matches and will be played in Lisbon.

The Champions League final will be held on Sunday, August 23rd, at the Estadio da Luz. Initially, the venue for the final was the Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, but due to these changes it will host next season’s closure.
