Costa Rican authorities reported that the country is experiencing the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and called on the citizens and businessmen to comply with all hygienic and preventive measures to avoid community transmission.

«Right now, we are facing the second wave of the pandemic. We are having a major outbreak among workers in the agricultural sector, packaging companies and construction sector,» said Minister of Health Daniel Salas.

Meanwhile, Costa Ricans continue to comply with self-prevention measures while they carry out their economic activities at a medium level of normality.
