Nineteen days after the plan to reopen gradually commercial and recreational areas began, the Central American country has recorded the day with the most recent cases of COVID-19, with 52 positive cases.

Costa Rica now has 1,157 cases of Coronavirus, of which 542 are women and 615 men, of whom 913 are nationals and 244 are foreigners.

Meanwhile, 21 people are hospitalized, 5 in intensive care, and 685 people have recovered.
