The U.S. president said, “We have detailed reforms that they must make and engage with them directly, but they have refused to act,” when he announced the termination of the country’s relationship with the World Health Organization (WHO).

The president said, one of the reasons for the U.S. departure from the WHO council was the organization’s handling of the pandemic in China.

«Because they have not made the requested and much-needed reforms, we will end our relationship with the World Health Organization today and redirect those funds to other urgent global public health needs,» Trump said.
