El Salvador’s Minister of Finance, Nelson Fuentes, presented a bill to the Congress to extend the Income Tax declaration, Tax prepayment, and the Income Tax until June 30th.

The proposed bill’s goal is to facilitate in a transitory manner the voluntary compliance of Tax obligations in the context of the COVID-19 emergency.

“This new bill will make it easier for taxpayers, who were unable to pay and file their Income Tax returns, to meet their commitments,» said the Minister of Finance.
