Through the National Commission of Civil Protection, the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele,  announced measures in favor of vulnerable families; following the yellow alert decreed for a tropical system that is threatening the country.

«We will help our fellow Salvadorans before the storm hits them,» said the Presidential Commissioner for Operations and Government Cabinet, Carolina Recinos.

The official announced that starting from this Thursday, over 180,000 food packages will be delivered in the country’s most vulnerable municipalities, which have been historically affected by the rains.
