The signs of COVID-19 in those infected with the virus, go beyond pneumonia and respiratory disease. The Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV) has reported five skin conditions.

The research concentrated the results of several weeks on 375 people infected with Coronavirus, who showed some kind of skin condition.

The five skin conditions according to the AEDV are:

  • Skin rashes similar to sores (hands and feet).
  • Vesicular eruptions.
  • Urticarial lesions.
  • Maculopapular rashes.
  • Livedo-reticularis or necrosis due to vascular obstruction.
