The government of President Nayib Bukele, through the Salvadoran Development Bank (BANDESAL) presented this morning at the parliament, reforms that would allow them to expand their capabilities.

The main purpose of the reforms is to strengthen the institution in order to create the conditions to promote the development of small and medium enterprises.

«What we want is that BANDESAL fulfills 100% of its objectives and grants direct lines of credit to businessmen and entrepreneurs in the best conditions during the COVID-19 crisis,» said Juan Pablo Duran, president of BANDESAL.
