After COVID-19 forced Central American countries to close their businesses, Honduras has announced that it would open up its economy in June.

According to information provided by the president of the Honduran Council of Private Enterprise, José Carlos Skaffy, the reactivation of the economy and reopening of businesses will officially begin on June 8.

Phase zero is scheduled for the first week of June and comprises preparing workplaces for a progressive return of people to their companies and businesses.
