Michael Jordan and the Jordan brand pledged $100 million to organizations dedicated to promoting racial equity and social justice.

In a joint statement by former basketball star and Nike’s affiliated brand, they said the money would be given over the next 10 years with the goal of ensuring racial equality, social justice, and access to education.

«I am deeply saddened, truly hurt and frankly angry,» said Michael Jordan, referring to the murder of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer.
