Microsoft has decided to replace most of the journalists it had hired to produce news for the MSN.com website and instead use robots.

The company’s action will cause the dismissal of 50 editors, although it has been pointed out that they will also keep many other professionals on the team.

«Microsoft is replacing journalists with automated systems as a method to evaluate the business and measure the impact on its investments,» the company said in a press release.
