The amount of money allegedly abandoned by drug traffickers on a boat in Paso Caballos, Corinto, department of Chinandega, is $400,000.

At a press conference with official media in Managua, Commissioner Victoriano Ruiz, second in command of the Judicial Assistance Directorate, reported on the amount seized.

The police chief said the seizure took place last Tuesday at 12:40 p.m., when a patrol car was carrying out a surveillance and noticed two motorboats, which seemed to be stranded on the coast, one of the boats contained a white sack where the money was.
