The Guatemalan Minister of Foreign Affairs informed that 5,457 Guatemalan migrants are in custody of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement service.

According to the report, at least 2,577 migrants have a final deportation order and 2,880 still have pending processes.

This week, several flights are scheduled to bring Guatemalans back to the country, and because of the COVID-19 emergency, it will be done in groups of 50 people. Upon arrival, migrants must go through a quarantine period in their homes.
