Paraguay has not reported deaths from the pandemic in the last 30 days, maintaining 11 deaths since the first case was reported on March 7, according to Deputy Minister of Health Juan Carlos Portillo.

«The last fatality was reported a month ago,» said the health official, to date infections in Paraguay have reached 1,289.

Paraguay is going through phase 3 of its return to economic activities, which includes opening restaurants, universities for the use of laboratories and thesis defenses, opening gyms, individual sports in private sports clubs, fitting out theaters and drive-through centers while respecting social distance, and religious services of only 20 people, among others.
