Pablo Anliker, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock reported that due to both tropical storms Amanda and Cristobal, the losses in the agricultural sector reach $5.6 million.

The Minister announced that so far, 22,476 farmers have been affected nationwide.

President Nayib Bukele asked the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock to work on three areas: developing a recovery plan, a program to reactivate the sector, and ways to guarantee food security.
