The government received a total of 55,800 units of hydroxychloroquine, a medication that is part of the treatment recommended by the World Health Organization.

The donation arrived in the country as a result of the international efforts made by the president and his team, in the midst of the pandemic.

“We all know that it is one of the treatments that has the most scientific evidence managing the disease” said Francisco Alabi minister of health, who along with Carolina Recinos presidential commissioner of operations and government cabinet, received the shipment.
