The International Olympic Committee (IOC) decided to allocate $800 million to address the crisis generated in the sports world by the Coronavirus.

This was announced by IOC President Thomas Bach at a press conference on Thursday, after a meeting with Committee members who agreed to provide this support.

Thomas Bach, said that 650 million dollars will be allocated to the postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games to 2021, while 150 million dollars will be used for supporting international federations and the Olympic movement.
