The world’s biggest beer festival in Munich and the San Fermin festival in Pamplona, were cancelled because it would be impossible to carry them out with social distancing rules.

Months before they were carried out and with little hope that the Coronavirus pandemic would allow its normal performance without a high risk of contagion, both cities decided to cancel the festivals.

Both the City Hall of Pamplona, and the Bavarian authorities in southern Germany, reported that they see it difficult to postpone the activities this year.
