The peak of the COVID-19 curve in El Salvador will be next week

The second week of May is the date projected by the infectious disease specialist Jorge Panameno, considering the results of a study by the Singapore University of Technology.

The study has estimated that the end of the crisis in El Salvador will be reported in mid-August, allowing it to estimate that next week would represent the highest point of contagion.

According to the study, El Salvador will begin decreasing cases around April 23rd; 97% of cases will end by June 19th; 99% of cases will end by July 8th, and 100% of cases will end by August 9th.
