Twitter announced a new feature for its platform. Through the company’s official blog, Maya Patterson, product designer, and Rémy Bourgoin, software engineer, reported about the new function that will allow users to send voice notes.

For the time being, this new feature will be enabled for a small group of Apple device users. The «voice tweets» will last 140 seconds, the company added.

To send the voice message, users must click on the new icon (similar to a wavelength). When you do so, a screen with a record button will be displayed. If the voice message exceeds 140 seconds, a new recording automatically starts, and it is published as a thread.
